1/23/2024 0 Comments Best airflow case 2016The downside is that their standard setup is pretty meagre compared to what you might actually use (eg the NZXT H5 is missing its angled ventral fan that blows at the GPU in this config leading to one of the highest GPU temps), but it does show how efficient the case is at using 2 front intake and 1 exhaust fan. GN's case review list has fan standardized methodology which makes it easier to compare between cases. ![]() So many answers with source: just trust me bro. Lian Li is hard to evaluate because they switch fans with every new case they push out. Imo Fractal design is best all-rounder, BeQuiet fans are only good if they're part of the silent wings series, Corsair fans are serviceable (loud at high rpms), NZXT is bottom of the barrel stuff. The stock case fans is 80% of the equation. If you don't mind noise, then a rackmount case is the most space efficient design for multiple GPU set-ups. While aquarium cases like O11 has bottom intakes so the GPU always gets fresh air in.įor those with multiple GPUs and aren't water-blocking them, a case that allows you to set-up vertical AND upright mount at the same time is the best (eg the O11 XL cases). Newer B.Q cases allows you to flip the entire set-up (gpu gets fresh air from the top). If you want it better, you shroud it off so the CPU only gets fresh air. Your GPU's cooling solution is going to matter a lot more than case airflow.įor those with CPU air coolers, you may see improvements in CPU temps if you invert the airflow layout (The case's rear is now intake, fresh air closer to the heatsink). You won't see much difference swapping out cases lol. ![]() Pick, Assemble and Install: Video Guideįor a standard set-up with 1 GPU, the standard conventional layout works well.No intentionally harmful, misleading or joke advice. No excessive posting (more than one submission in 24 hours). No selling, trading or requests for valuation. No self-promotion, advertising, begging, or surveys. No submissions about memes, jokes, meta, or hypothetical / dream builds. No titles that are all-caps, clickbait, PSAs, pro-tips or contain emoji. No submissions about retailer or customer service experiences. No submissions about sales, deals or unauthorized giveaways. No submissions about hardware news, rumors, or reviews. ![]() Please keep in mind that we are here to help you build a computer, not to build it for you.
